Sustainable development
We help organizations align economic and societal objectives. To do this, we integrate sustainable development objectives, while meeting stakeholder expectations and preserving shareholder value.
We believe that corporations have not only a profound responsibility to help implement the Sustainable Development Goals, but will benefit directly from them.

Issue
Our planet face massive social & environmental challenges. Companies are more than ever impacted by sustainability challenges.

Value proposition
We support organizations along their sustainability journey, from the development of a strategy to its improvement.

Deliverables
We deliver a 360 sustainabilty approach through our sustainability tools.
Context
Our key starting points are the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) a set of 17 goals and 169 targets, a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030 and the UN Global Compact , a principle-based framework for businesses, stating ten principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption.
Sustainability issues
Analysing and prioritising the following main sustainability issues are at the core of every sustainability/SDG strategy:

Environment
GHG emissions, energy management, water management, materials, waste management, biodiversity and transport.

Social
Labor practices: freedom of association, forced/child labor and non-discrimination. Human rights: health and safety, compensation & benefits, education, products safety, data privacy, community engagement.

Gouvernance
Ethics & anti-corruption, compliance, supplier assessment (supply chain), grievance mechanisms and external assurance.
Identification of key drivers will shape sustainability paths for innovation such as renewable energy solutions or partnerships with social entrepreneurs throughout the supply chain.
Scope of Intervention
They are different ways to scaling an organization’s resources and linking community development issues with business practices. We develop and assess sustainable development practices that can take various forms, from traditional philanthropy to strategies achieving both community and commercial returns as illustrated in this continuum:
- Core Business: pursuing conventional core business strategies while creating positive social outcome.
- Responsible Business: characterised by the ‘do not harm’ principle and often relate to the notion of fair trade, green business and sustainable supply chain.
- Inclusive Business: ‘Do good’ – integrating low income communities in the supply chain as suppliers or clients, utilising technology and enhancing efficiency and effectiveness of production and distribution to benefit both the low income communities and the company.
- Social Business: a cause driven business.
- Strategic Social Investment: utilising core resources and competencies as a basis for a grant.
- Philanthropy: grants to to non profit organisations.
